Deconstructing Whiteness

Being anti-racist is a practice that requires consistent intention, humility and action over a life-time.

Join these monthly conversations focused on building anti-racist practices. We'll do this together by interrupting our own conditioning within white supremacy culture, understanding the historical roots of whiteness and taking on practices to leverage our privilege to build anti-racist practices on a personal and systemic level. This is space to bring your heart, mind and messiness!

These conversations are designed for parents, leaders & concerned community members who benefit from white privilege and want to deepen their commitment to being anti-racist. These meet-ups are made for both drop-in and continued participation. They will take place on the 4th or 3rd Friday of each month on the following dates:

Friday, February 26th 3:330pm-5:00pm PST

Friday, March 26th 3:330pm-5:00pm PST

Friday, April 23rd 3:330pm-5:00pm PST

Friday, May 21st 3:330pm-5:00pm PST

Friday, June 18thth 3:330pm-5:00pm PST

Together, let’s create soulful conversations to deepen our commitment to being anti-racist. Fill out the contact form to reserve your spot and a Zoom link will be emailed to you.

Suggested donation is $25 per session; half of the proceeds will be donated to King County Equity Now, in support of the Black community to acquire property in Seattle’s historically Black neighborhood.
